Tucker County Day at the Legislature, January 22nd

Tucker County Day at the Legislature, January 22nd

The Tucker County Chamber Commerce and Development Authority are excited to host this year’s event at the Capitol. We are co-hosting the event with Preston County. They will be serving their Buckwheat Cakes during the morning at the Capitol and we’re sponsoring lunch by the Berry Best Catering for the afternoon meetings.

The event will be held at the Capitol, Senate Side in the Rotunda, on Thursday, January 22nd from 9am to 12pm.  The event is designed to give you an opportunity to mingle with elected officials and make connections with the decision makers in Charleston.  We will have limited space available for displays and exhibitors.  If you would like to reserve a table, please respond as soon as possible. Tables will be used to display handouts for your Business and/or Organization’s information.

The afternoon lunch and roundtable meetings will be held at the WV Tourism Office, Building 3 in Suite 124.  Elected officials and various departments will be invited to join us for lunch and have roundtable discussions.  Please let us know if you would like to invite someone specific.

If you plan to attend the event please fill out the form and return to the Tucker County Chamber office.  You can email the form to Jessica Waldo, jessica@gettuckered.com, or drop off at the office.

More details regarding the afternoon lunch and roundtable meeting will be provided as we get closer to the event.

We have secured a room block at the Four Points Sheraton in Charleston, West Virginia.  If you would like to take advantage of the discounted room rate use the code: Tucker Preston County, when booking your room.  The room block is for Wednesday, January 21st and Thursday, January 22nd.
